The lobby of the Palais de Justice is the both the continuation and the evolution of the main entrance elements.

The full height of the internal space perfectly connects to the height of the external portico.

At the same time the square grid module is repeated and progressively fragmentated up to the cube-based pattern covering the inner volumes housing the courtrooms.

And when looking outside across the lobby, the dark interior suddenly becomes shiny.
