MACRO Museum New Entrance Hall – Roma
12-06-10

In what seems to be a new trend, the entrance hall of the MACRO museum in Roma was opened to visitors before the official opening planned for the next Fall.

The heart of the hall is a red multifaceted solid lifted from the ground level, surrounded by bridges connecting the different sections of the first floor.

The solid hides inside an auditorium, featuring red polished walls and felt seating with foldable armrests.

The top of the solid, that is located right under the slanted skylight which is supposed to have water running on it, is an indoor teracce with red polished floor and built-in seating.
