Saline Royale – Arc et Senans

We were charmed by the French visionary architecture of the XVIII century since viewing The Belly of an Architect in the early 90s.

And traveling by car to Paris we stopped at Arc et Senans to visit the wonderful Saline Royale, one of the very few built projects by Claude-Nicolas Ledoux.
