MAXXI Museum Galleries - Roma

Now that the MAXXI museum is still empty, it is hard to tell the difference between distribution and exhibition spaces…

…and we are not sure that this will be possible anyway once exhibitions will take place.

The bending and sometimes sloping galleries create a strong expectation on the terminal, that right now is always disappointed as it consists of a plain white empty wall.

The dynamism of the whole museum is intensified by many other architectural elements, including staircases, skylights and artificial light stripes.
